This years Beano Christmas Special is now available from WH Smith. I picked up my copy today! Like last year it contains all-new content.

If my copies continue to arrive late after this week then I'd may as well cancel it and buy from a shop. im thinking the same they use sh*t plastic bags with no protection whatsoever and the last 2 year majority of my copies come...

The Christmas special is now available online!

The release date of the annual was pushed back until 25/09/2016 to coincide with the relaunch. The cover of the Annual with the old logo was like a mock up cover as they didn't want to reveal the new logo until the launch

Mine neither. Apparently according to their Facebook page subscribers will return their copies between Monday to Wednesday this week for "this week only". Though mine has been arriving this late for at least 5 weeks now. Will look forward to seeing the new look!

Did you manage to have a flick through the annual? If so apart from The logo, is there anything different about its contents?

Still no issue today. I have now contacted DC Thomson to see what is going on.

perhaps they DCT dont want the revamp news getting out to early so are sending copies out late this week and possibly next week. If that's the case that's slightly annoying as the whole point of me paying to subscribe is to get it before it's in the shops. Recently it seems to arrive late every week.

Well the relaunch has been planned for a while now. You could be right. Who knows.

The release date to the Beano Annual was postponed to 25th September. All the other dc Thomson annuals have already been published.

The panel from Nigel's blog was from this years Dandy Annual, so sadly I don't think we will be seeing any new Cuddles and Dimples anywhere else other than new Dandy Annuals.
