She was the main character in the BUNTY serial 'Melody Lee - a dancer she'll be!'. The story started in issue 1030 (Oct. 8 1977) and ended in 1067 (Jun. 24 1978). It ran for more than eight months, a highly unusual event in any Thomson girls' paper.
