You're a good man! Thank you. I picked up the Johhny Law from the same seller.
Indeed a few of his items were at no-brainer prices. Nice pick up.

Got a bound volume of Union Jack, nos. 1 - 40 from 1/1/1880. The boards are in a terrible state, but the comics are OK.

Well the con is not even open and I have already depleted my funds!

I picked up 6 Sexton Blake Libraries from the 1950s, two graphic novels (Paradise Lost and Behind The Curtain) and the rough for the art for the British Comics Swapmeet in September.
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

I've got #1 of that series of Rocket but no others. You very rarely see them up for sale. I've also got the set of cards as well along with a few doubles. I've got the full set of the 1956 version of The Rocket but still haven't got around to reading them yet.

Nice one. Sounds the kind of thing that could do with being re-bound.

Just got a few of the comics, I think #1 and #4 without digging them out.

They certainly could, where would you suggest, I've never had any done before.

Look in the relevant section of your local Yellow Pages. There should be several offering their skills.

Koollectablz started a thread entitled "Good Titles to Bind" or something very similar. He recommended http://www.hollingworthmoss.co.uk/comic-binding.html and although I haven't sent anything to them yet, I will do soon. You're probably talking £35-£40 as an estimate.

Two more great Holiday Specials in Victor 1967, the first one and Valiant 1973 meaning I only need a couple more for the whole lot.

Cheers Kollectablz!
