Final purchases this month, and bought a 1994 issue of the Dandy, and two Oor Wullie books (the Dandy via eBay, and the Oor Wullie books via Amazon marketplace)

Strange Stories No.1. This must have been inspired by the Alan Class series of titles. It has the same type of content, format and price but with new British material rather than US reprints. It was produced in 1967 by John Spencer & Co (Publishers) Ltd who also produced Macabre, Fantasy & Spectre at the same time. A good looking read in really good nick.

I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

Great comic!

I'm still after Spectre Stories #1 as I have the #1s for their other 5 Spencer titles including Purple Hood and Mark Tyme.

Pre-ordered two issues of Beano (including the 80th anniversary issue (which should either be the 28/7/2018 issue, or the 4/8/2018 issue)) through NewsStand.

Almost the full run of the Eagle Comics reprint of Judge Dredd from the 1980s. I also ask that 6 1/2 years of Megazine plus a random selection of Iron Man and The Mighty Thor be taken into consideration.

I visited Glenrothes Comic Con today and said hello to a lot of old friends. While I did not pick up much, I did pick up The Sloper Gradient on the recommendation of Calum Laird. I also managed to pick up another four Commandos which had been dropped off by the new Heritage Brands editor.

And one local charity shop has a good selection of 1980s and 1990s Beanos and the Beano Fun-Sized digests. While I did not pick those up, I picked up a selection of Classics From The Comics, Summer Specials and issue 3000 of the Beano

Clint Walker died last week aged 90. I used to watch him in Cheyenne in the sixties.

I've still got my Cheyanne 6 shooter from the 60s, and possibly the holster to go with it.
