Good news all round then. I am pleased.

I was in Leicester at University from '82 - '86. I bet it's changed a bit since I frequented the pubs and clubs of the town!
You would be surprise not much has changed in the town center it's self apart from it is now mostly pedestrianized.

Delete this line, Charley, before Col claps eyes on it. He'll be straight on a train with his pockets overflowing with the family's bawbees for the month, and Mrs Valeera will never ever be able to forgive you.
LOL there will be non left next time I go and have a look.

He has been there for years. I must have brought hundreds off them from him over the time I used to have about 600 issues till I sold them to a guy in the states for a pretty penny about 15 years ago.

My lad has had a few from him he offers a swap deal where you can buy one take it home read it and bring it back and swap it for another one which I thought was a good idea.

Waiting for a package of 32 TV Comics from 1973 to arrive. Won them for £32 on eBay. On a different note I was looking through a local freesheet yesterday and saw an advert for Bananaman the Musical which opens at the Southwark Playhouse on 15 December. Near the Elephant & Castle. I was never a fan of Bananaman so won't be a lighting from a 188 bus and proceeding to aforesaid entertainment venue.

Another thing. On Talksport yesterday morning Alan Brazil's co-host said that Captain Scotland was making a comeback. Must admit I've never heard of the character. Brazil went on to say his favourite comic strips were the Broons and Oor Wullie and Alf Tupper.

Been helping out at the local charity shop and bought two Beano Picture Libraries, a Football PSM and the 1990 Eagle Holiday Special.
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

Perhaps it's the only theatre in the area with a curved stage.

Managed to find the 1939 Eb & Flo annual I've been after for a while, also one of the Eb & Flo midget comics I think from 1941.

Also found a Wizard Holiday book for Boys, the 1939 issue.

Well pleased :)

Great news, but how are you going to get round with only one arm and one leg?

Just bought tonight three 1971 issues of the Dandy.

I should have them by the New Year.

Yes I saw that, not sure if its worth that much, its a bit tatty. He might reduce it if it doesn't sell.
