Very tempting. I'm watching them as well but I've got a massive purchase lined up in September so I really need to hold back on other purchases currently

Is this massive purchase something like a new car or a new house?, or something sensible like a complete run of Beano comics from 1938?

High opening bid though at over £370 inc fees. I'm surprised that there hasn't been a bid on the Wild West Weekly set yet and only 3 watchers including me.

:D

Actually, it's not me who has the pair, it's another local Hampshire man apparently. I am though, the new proud owner of an original Beano #1 from the same source you identified.

Cheers Bri. Enough that I won't put it in the public eye in case my girlfriend sees! I bought Phil Shrimpton's copy though and he's posted what he sold it for on his site.

I'm frantically selling stuff currently to try to make even a little dent in the amount!
