Christmas 2023 Annuals

Post by jim244 »

So,it's almost here....Xmas day.
As a child one of the most exciting things about Christmas was getting annuals as presents.
Sure I got a Spectrum (computer back in the days when computers weren't part of our daily life),a TV,a guitar etc etc but man I just really used to get excited over annuals.
I've always loved comics and that's not a crime.
As a kid in the 70s,I was spoilt by the annuals released in that decade.
Starlord,Action,Battle,2000ad,Space 1999,Dr Who,Star Trek,Planet of the Apes,Kung Fu,Look-in,Six Million Dollar Man,Incredible Hulk,Fantastic Four,Blakes 7,Batman,Star Wars,Roy of the Rovers,Beano,Dandy etc
Nowadays the annual market has much diminished.
It is very sad.
But on a positive note ........
I think my wife has got me the Xmas 2000ad special plus the Dr Who and Dandy annuals.
Any other annual fans here and if so,what annual of 2023 do you most want?
