There was:

The Valiant Book of Sports in 1972, 1973 and 1974
The Valiant Book of Weapons and War 1976
The Valiant Book of Mystery & Magic 1976

A book search also came up with:

Valiant Book of TV's Sexton Blake

- from 1968? Was this a tie-in to the comic?

Really? He's not credited on the Dan Dare ones, and the Girl Film & TV editions are mainly photographic...

I used to have this; it was tie-in to the strip running in Valiant at the time.
