Last week's comic mart where I swapped one Bullet Summer Special for a crate of War PLs and swapped the second one for a crate of Microns, random PLs and 41 Hotspurs between 1945 and 1952.

Seeing Paw Broon, McShane, Graeme Neil Reid, Willie Patterson's eldest daughter, Stref and Ian Kennedy didn't hurt either.
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

Highlight 1

Col: Hi Cam, I am sorry but you are not quite right. Your first Commando was not in 1966 but was about the 17th/18th October 1968 so this is the 50th anniversary. And here is a copy for you to give back a little of what you have given us.
Cam: For me? Oh thanks. I'll no have to pay for this will I?
Col: No Cam, that's later!

Highlight 2

MD: Are you Colin Noble?
Col: Yes
MD: Hi I'm Mike Dorey.

Highlight 3:

Col: Is this another of yours Ian?
Ian: Where on earth do you keep digging these up from? *wink* That can't have been mine as I was only in nappies then! *cheeky grin*

Not as interesting as colcool's but the new Scream! & Misty came through the letterbox today.

A really good read.

Reading the last issue of Sniper Elite: Resistance.

With a cover by Carlos Ezquerra and starring Rat Pack, it's pure classic Battle Picture Weekly. A blast from the past.

The missus was away this weekend. So the dog & I watched wall-to-wall Sci-Fi DVDs while I ate crap food and read 1985s Tiger comics and also the new Mazeworld graphic novel. Not a comic highlight but a great long weekend with comics in it.

Back to work tomorrow though.
