Question about non stapled comics

Post by Stevendoig »

Hi

Been reading all the old Hotspurs I got a couple of months back. A lot of them seem fine until I open them and all the pages come loose!

I always presumed the old DC Thomson comics were glued but there doesn't seem to be evidence of this on the separated pages.

Im just wondering how they were stuck together? - was it a glue? Or some sort of process involving heat or something?

Also, is there an effective way to get the comics back together, or would I be better just to leave them with the pages all loose?

Pages were glued, but sometimes it dries and they come loose. Just carefully centre them up and then apply one or two small drops of UHU glue at top, middle & bottom to re-fix them.
A Face unclouded by thought.
