Re: Robert MacGillivray
Thanks for that Viswa. It's always interesting to see how comics that were originally published in the UK made it around the world.
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!
Re: Robert MacGillivray
Yeah thanks Viswa. Always interesting to see that & learn some more.
I believe MacGillivray did quite a few things for overseas, and/or had much reprinted into other languages - I once saw something of his in Frence.
I also recently read somewhere that he did briefly, early in his career, drew a strip for the Dandy called Dirty Dick I think (not the version that later emerged in the 60s/70s), during the 1940s (early in his career).
It amazes me of the sheer amount of output and productivity Rob MacGillivray had and did in his career, pretty much right up to his death.

Thanks for the replies.
There were about 40 characters from UK which were published in Tamil in comics format.
Right from Eagle comics of the 1960's getting published in 1967 In Tamil to little known characters also getting published in various comics from 1960 - 2013.
If you people are intetested, i shall start a new thread and post them one by one.
P.S.: even spellbinder made an odd appearance in Tamil.
