Nick Cardy RIP

Just heard that Nick Cardy - another of my childhood heroes - died on Sunday at the age of 93. Though his run on the Tarzan newspaper strip was probably the only series to be regularly featured in a British comic his 1960s DC artwork on imported titles like Aquaman, Teen Titans, Rip Hunter and Bat Lash made a huge impression on me at the time.



So long Nick, and thanks for all the memories!

I feel the same way about his work. Sad, indeed. That BAT LASH cover is really good. And The T.T. cover reminds me how good he was on that title. To the extent that, when I finish this note, I will dig out my run of T.T. and have a wallow.
