Hi there!
Does anybody knows whether this sample is during the era of Daily Star ?

If it is of any help, Yvonne's son and daughter, who are close friends, think it is probably pre-Star.
Looking at the strip and hairstyle, I would date it before then. I am no expert, but, when I get time I have been invited to view some of her original artwork, and she did have a habit of photographing her work before she sent it away for lettering, so there is quite an archive there which might reveal a more accurate date. I will be taking pictures of as many as possible.
