Can anyone identify, or confirm the artist on this original page I've been offered and am contemplating whether to buy?
Apparently it's from an unpublished strip from the 1970s, and searching around, I believe it's the work of Tony Higham.

Re: Identify the artist? (Original Art)
It certainly looks like Tony Higham to me, for what it's worth. A definite identification may be difficult if the strip was unpublished. Higham did a lot of work for UK girls' comics, but I've never seen a signature, nor come across any personal info about his life. Maybe David Roach could help? He was my source for the artist's name.

It's Enid Blyton's The Island of Adventure. How interesting. I wonder where it was going to see print and why it didn't?
Re: Identify the artist? (Original Art)
Higham did draw The Naughtiest Girl in School in full colour for Pixie in 1972, which adapted quite a few books. I wonder if this was intended for it, and either unpublished because of the merger with June in early 1973?Robbie Moubert wrote: ↑26 Jun 2021, 01:42It's Enid Blyton's The Island of Adventure.
