No, Peter (but I think that would be a shock of the century) ;)

It is the only poster I did not have until now (although it is in fact for a promotion for a prize given away in the Dear Sir page.)

What's causing Cheeky's Teacher to go ga-ga?

The answer can be found in the summary for the 1978 Cheeky Summer Special here.

Back from the dead (after spending the last month or so in bed with a stubborn bug I can't get rid of, and not having my computer for the last two and a half weeks or so.)

I restart blogging with a strip from another Birthday week issue that I recently won - An issue of Wham! and I take a look at the strip, Biff. which is here.

Some important news for readers of my blog.

No it's not the end of the Comic Archive, but the blog is going on the move.

I have recently bought a .au domain, and not only the blog but the rest of my website will be moving to the new address

in fact, the blog has now been deleted, as I have deleted the relevant images. It will return in October.

I will let you know when I have completed the move so that those who have a bookmark to my website will be able make the relevant changes

This will also mean the end of the brucelaing.com domain, but this won't happen for a few weeks yet.

More in the next couple of weeks.

The website is now online.

For those who have linked to my old blog at brucelaing.com, should now change your relevant links to the following address

http://comics.brucelaing.id.au

(I'm now in the process of fixing the images at the moment (this should take a few days, so if you see a broken image there, it's likely that I haven't edited the post yet. This will only affect blog posts before July this year) (it's now done)

You will also need to change any links, as I have turned off the calendar in the hyperlink.

Just a reminder that my retrospective of the Dandy is currently running on the blog right now.

The current chapter online at the moment covers the 1990's here.

"After 87 issues, Cracker ended it’s run in September 1987" - shouldn't that be 1976?

Here is an update.

At the moment, my blog is currently posting a week of strips of Sweeny Toddler, but I have received an email from my web host informing me that my site will be moving to new servers, so there could be some minor delays (hopefully, there will be no lost scheduled posts (Thursday and Friday's posts have already been scheduled.))

If there are any delays in regards to my daily scheduled posts (they go online every day at 8:00 am AEST) please let me know.
