Also could some of the humour pages from the adventure stories comics be also be shown like e.g.
Bill Ritchie's 'Cat Street Kids' from The New Hotspur

I seem to remember - as far as the black and white Marvel Essentials collections are concerned - wherever possible the original art (or copies of it) was used. This was also the case in the Power Comics reprints. When colour pages were copied in black and white it looked rather muddy and indistinct. I think there is an example of a colour page being used in the Essentials Ant Man vol 1. I still remember with horror when Mighty World of Marvel and Spiderman Comics Weekly went to glossy paper, there were these awful grey tones used that blotted out a lot of the art as sometimes they reproduced as almost black. When these titles originally appeared some of the pages had a one colour tone and looked quite good.

If they print colour ones in the classic should they re-allign the colours with the black ink work? Not a crit, just wondering if its the wonky colour plate thats part of the charm for some people!

Not without raising the price of Classics substantially. I don't think it's going to happen.
