According to information provided by Ray Moore in his authoritative book Topper Tales, Danger In The Hills was drawn by George Ramsbottom. The artist for both The Storms At Sea and The Stallions Of The Moon was H. R. Platt.

Great scans, can you imagine those strips appearing in kids comics today, Not a hope.

They are great..I'd think kids today would lap it up..as they are strong narratives..good cliff hangers..

thanks for the artists names....might use that for a blog post with there names..

another artist I don't know...But anyway I like stories where the character is not believed...you are alway rooting for them to prove they are not lying..

Peter Planet artist is George Ramsbottom again Peter. BTW your mentioning Black Bob brings to mind the fact that in the mid 1960's when Jack Prout was indisposed George Ramsbottom drew the occasional Black Bob strip.

Couldn't reprint that these days - people complained when a dog was shot on Ashes to Ashes on Monday!
