Ok, I've been dropping hints in various threads for a while now.

Just to let you know I'l have a press release on the DC Thomson project by tomorrow, all being well, and that Comic Review will also be publishing a preview tomorrow.

Exciting!!

I'll certainly be interested in these two items, J.T. As for how exciting I will find them, well we'll just have to wait and see.

I suspect that is only likely, Phil, if Big Eggo is The Black Sapper in disguise.

Could the rumours of a Plum Duffy miniseries for Mature Readers be true?

I think its Beano The Movie directed by James Cameron with Uma Thurman as Minnie the Minx and Christian Bale as Smiffy.

Cast in full:

Dennis The Menace....Bruce Willis
Billy Whizz...Brad Pitt
Roger The Dodger...Christian Slater
The Bash Street Kids:
Danny...
Fatty...Matt Lucas
Smiffy...Christian Bale
Erbert...
Spotty...
Sidney...
Toots...Lily Allen
Teacher...Stephen Fry

Sorry I've run out of names - suggestions welcomed....

Why has Cameron cast so many forty to sixty year olds as the kids?!

Artistic licence. In Planet of the Apes they didn't get apes to play the apes they got humans. Its what acting is all about.

LOL. I hope it all lives up to the hype I've given it. Although my hype is understated compared to all the previews, clips, trailers and whatnot that Marvel release before their movies.

Anyhow, readers of Comic Heroes, there will be more in Comic Review imminently. Which is a good word. I intend to use it more in conversation.

Could you please tell us where exactly the press release is, so that we can actually read it. There is nothing on the Comic Review site, as of four minutes ago.

The press release hasn't been sent out yet Derek. As for Comic Review, that's a weekly digital magazine and today's issue isn't available to download yet. Should be soon though.

If you don't want to buy Comic Review for 99p I'm sure the excellent Down the Tubes website will feature the fantastic news as soon as they hear anything:

That's more like it, thanks Lew. However, I'm still in the dark as to how, where and when I will be able to read the press release, which I am assuming is a different thing altogether from whatever is going into Comic Review. I'm trying hard not to get underwhelmed and underexcited by it all, but it isn't easy.

It's fairly straightforward. When the press released is released, the comic news sites will publish it. I'm sure JT Mirana will be able to post it here then too.

Presumably Comic Review has already received their PR, and will publish the news when the next issue is uploaded later today.
