I don't think it's a huge leap to guess that people who are into old comics might also be into old books, particularly of a pulp style, so I was wondering whether anyone could suggest somewhere I might look for old copies of the Golden Amazon series by John Russell Fearn.
I know there is a reprint series currently available, but for reasons only known to them, they have renumbered it, starting with what's actually volume seven. It's the first six I'm looking for, particularly The Golden Amazon returns and Twin of the Amazon. I've looked at all the obvious places, like Amazon and Abebooks, but I find their offerings of £25 upwards for a 120 page book with no dust jacket less than appealing.
Can anyone suggest anywhere else worth looking that won't charge me an arm and a leg for the privilege?
