The Hull Daily Mail every Monday has a pullout called Flashback Weekly which reprints an old front page. Today's has a four panel comic strip on the reprinted cover, called Sandra. The page was originally printed in February 1949. Is this a syndicated strip? It appears to have only just started at that point.
