I haven't seen that ad before but I'm guessing it's Champion? (Fleetway, about 1966?)

You don't need a clue.

Probably about twenty. Not enough. You can never have enough Score 'n' Roars.

Their was only 41 Issues(their should have been 100's) of Score 'n' Roar, but it had 13 Annuals, surely if a comic had thay many Annuals the comic must have been doing OK. :?
Jet 22 Issues and only 1 Annual
Thunder 22 Issues and 3 Annuals

IPC sometimes found that although a weekly had folded, the annuals sold quite well. Several IPC comics lived on as annuals and holiday specials well after their weekly editions had ceased.

I think Score 'n' Roar has the record of having the lease amount of comics but the most Annuals.

Hurricane must run it pretty close, though. I think that ran for less than a year but the annuals went on for ages!

Same goes for DC Thomson judging by Beezer (comic ended 1993, annuals ended with the 2003 edition) and Bunty (comic ended 2001, last annual dated 2009).
