Blutske??

Hello all,
The comic strip "Blutske" appeared in a Flemish children's magazine called De Kindervriend in the 1920s/1930s. It was one of the favourite comics of a young Willy Vandersteen, who would become one of the leading Belgian comics authors. My Comiclopedia colleague and I suspect that Blutske is in fact a British comic strip, maybe by Bertie Brown?
