I've recently come across a book which is undated but, I guess, about 1900 to 1925 and inside the front cover is a printed bookplate with text being "The BOYS' CHAMPION Strory Paper. PRIZE ". The label is a pink coloured paper and about 8 x 6 cm with the text set inside a wavy line rectangle.
The usual searches haven't yielded any results on this story paper, only references to 'The Champion Book for Boys' , etc.
Does anyone know anything about the 'The Boys' Champion ' ? When was it published and by whom ? Did it morph/merge into some other title ?
Any information gratefully received.
Anyone heard of "The Boys' Champion Story Paper " ?
