I looked in both WHSmith and Asda today, not out yet. Plenty of time though, that should be available until at least January.

My local Tesco had the Beano Christmas Special but I'm not really into the modern day Beano but I did notice a banner around the newspaper shelf advertising Thunderbirds Are Go. I looked for it and finally found it at the back of a low shelf invisible from view. I put some issues down the front and bought one. It was £3.99 with a free model of Thunderbird 1. It advertises a Thunderbirds Are Go Annual. Has a CGI comic strip plus some mini strips.

The main story is actually screenshots from the TV series. Any idea who drew those mini-strips - someone on Lew Stringer's blog complained about "your little strips", but he said he isn't involved and doesn't know who did them.

I figured that much.... otherwise Lew would have known, lol!

Back to the original topic, I picked up the Beano Christmas Special today, on the third attempt.

Quite the surprise when I read the Bananaman story - a group of kids get banana powers thanks to Santa, and one of them looks familiar.... looks like they remembered that Super School existed. :)
