New Character

Hi all,

Just looking at the Dandy website and saw this...

Q: Can you make a new character please?

A: Check out our 10th of May issue Emil, we’ve got a new character called Jumbo of the Jungle – enjoy!

Anyone know if this is new/reprint? And if it is indeed new, who it is drawn/written by? And any other info on the strip? Would this be the first new strip since Dandy Extreme launched last year?

I wonder if this will be an additional strip, or in place of another...?

I've got a few answers/ideas...
1. There was a strip called Animal asylum in around 2002-2003 Jumbo was one of the characters.
2. The original was drawn by Wayne Thompson (Jak and Todd, Billy Whizz, Joe Jitsu, etc..)
3. We've already had Lucy Grimm and Captain Hookless, so its not the first new strip..
