I used to get comics from Roger Jordan who sent out a mail order catalogue. He used to reproduce one of the items for sale as the catalogue cover image. Here is one of them. Reg Carter art isn't it?

The korky artist was james crighton 1937 - 1962 reg carter died in 1949

Great cover.

Am looking forward to see what the new Dandy - now that it is a proper comic again - will produce this Christmas.

Reg Carter was the Big Eggo artist, sounds like you got the Beano and Dandy cover artists confused.

EDIT: Whoops, didn't realise this was a necropost. :oops:
