Why next weekend, it's out on Wednesday.

It's going to be a new Oink isn't it??? :) (though hopefully without the pigs! )

Maybe one pig?
Is that a clue to the identity of one of your new strips?

I'm surprised Dandy.com is still updating the Mailbag section considering that the whole site will be relaunched next week.

Yo Dandy dudes! I’ve just started reading your comic but I think I’m a fan for life. My dad says he read it when he was a kid but that was ages ago!?

Brassneck: Hi David – your dad could have read it when he was your age as we’ve been on the go since 1937! I bet your dad’s not that old!
So this kid started with the last issue of Xtreme then I guess? I hope it was the comic strips he liked and not the features they're taking out.

Lew,
I was really pleased to get the ****** strip, the ****** mini strip too, but my personal favourite (of my own stuff) has to be ****** and ******* I love those guys.

I think maybe I've said too much.

Or have I?

Digital Spy's article has been corrected, in response to an email I sent yesterday (in which I included a link to Lew's blog post about it). Thomson is now spelled correctly and the reference to Blurp is gone.

I was thinking of doing a strip called blurp.
All the publicity has been done for it already!

Blurp - the pig-boy from Shadow World. Confirms all the rumours.

Funny how people here are thinking of pigs. I'll quote you one line from the new Dandy:

"Pig count this issue: 7 pigs"

But that's all you're getting.

Dandy contributors - do you know (and, if so, could you reveal) the date that the advertising and newspaper reports will start?

I guess there is some kind of 'embargo' date where the UK will be smothered in Dandy-ness?

5 days to go now...... :D

No idea, sorry. All that will be handled by the sales department I imagine.

The subscription website still hasn't been updated, and they weren't yet able to quote me a price on the phone this morning... Brinksmanship!
