Apologies if this has already been dealt with, I have tried a few searches without success. I've just obtained from a charity shop "70 years Beano and Dandy- Comics in the Classroom" which reprints two Korky stories, one involving a male teacher and tacks, the other a lady teacher and a clockwork mouse. But the masthead above both is the same per the title of the thread! Which (if any) is correct - I suspect the former is an earlier story as it has no speech balloons, but what was the year for the latter?

Huh, just checked Comic Vine, no scan of 52, but they did have 53, for which someone had put the date as 31 December instead of 3 December - because the Korky strip is Christmas themed. A few weeks too early surely?

Yes...and I think that panel 5, with the wiry mice watching from the shadows, is a great composition. Strips like this make me nostalgic for old style draughtmanship...Peter Gray wrote:Love the black humour of the pudding...very funny

I really like James Crichton- my favourite Korky artist.
Is it weird to have no interest in keeping or collecting free gifts?
