Ken Harrison visited a Scunthorpe shop called Celebrate as part of a Desperate Dan Day last week. They expected national interest, well, it would help if the publicity went further than the Scunthorpe Telegraph newspaper! You can expect to hear more about it though, a national trade paper was apparently due to cover the event.

Fact fans, he's 72 years old and lives in Barton-upon-Humber.

Ken also ran his own rag-trade business which he co-owned in the 80s, so not only was he one of the best cartoonists in the UK, he was only a 'part-timer!'
