These Buster Adventure Library titles didn't collect anything together that had appeared in Buster but reprinted strips from the Thriller Picture Library and elsewhere. It was a relatively short-run title that only ran to 36 issues.

Interesting point Kashgar,there seems to be a veritable plethora of same-comic title libraries out there all printed in the 60's and 70's that had no relation to their doppelganger weekly namesakes!Lion,Valiant,Tiger,Battle,etc....On the face of it people could be forgiven in thinking they were offshoots of their favourite comics when in fact they had no relation to each other whatsoever.I wonder did any of these libraries exist before their namesakes happened along?This would make for an interesting article.I believe the girl's romance titles may have been partially related only again the stories were original to the books themselves....Bunty,etc...
Buster short run and one-off spin-off titles 'The Buster Book of Thrills' a one-off from 1963 published in the same softback format as the early Buster Books ( the first six Buster Books 1962-1967 were all published in a standard A4 softback format then from 1968 onwards while remaining in the softback format they enlarged the page size). Two slim softback volumes of the Buster Book of Gags 1970-1971 and then in 1975-1976 two A4 size softback editions of the Buster Book of Spooky Stories.
The first series of Battle Picture Library would have existed well before the Battle weekly comic, though later a "series 2" Battle picture library was bought out which had a similar logo to the weekly... though i beleive it was mainly reprints of the first series or new PL-type standalone stories and not, say, long stories about Charley or Johnny Red etc
