Yeah, well, I really wish that picture was bigger. I'll make the updates later (after a sleep!).

Thanks for confirming that #121: Stone Age Story was printed.
I've confirmed today that #121 was the very last, published 25th Jan 2001.

Thanks for that info AndyB i can finally change my signature. so i bought the second last issue of Beano Superstars and the shop i got' em from stopped stocking them after that issue or so i think to be honest i dont decade old memories especially considering i was quite young at the time. Seeing as I thought it was 120 which was last its nice to see i wasn't far off. Might try and get this last Beano Superstars.

I found what might be dandy special no 10 but im not sure if Dandy specials and Dandy Quarterly specials are something different. http://www.comicspriceguide.com/imageHa ... 563908.jpg It's called Bananaman in Double Trouble.

Also what about the comic library specials none are featured on your list. Alot are on ebay and the Beano comic library specials appear to be just puzzle books but the Dandy seem to have comic material in them. But I dont think there just long stories and if they are the titles of the stories aren't listed on the front covers.

That's right. The Beano Comic Library specials were puzzle books, and the Dandy ones were cartoon books. They have been discussed somewhere on this forum, but they didn't last very long.

The Cartoon Books are a bunch of single page strips, often single panel, so listing those would be more trouble than listing the weekly comics.

The eBay seller of those Beano Superstars informed me that the Bash Street one whose title we couldn't make out is called The Worst School Competition. I'll update that on the list tomorrow. Thanks Andy for confirming that issue 121 was the last one.

Beano Super Stars 68 is Roger the Dodger in Mega Beano city. http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u283 ... S/C-19.jpg

Also when i asked what the last Beano Superstars was it turns out Kashgar had already revealed it on this forum as being 121. http://www.comicsuk.co.uk/Forum/viewtop ... f=4&t=2747 It even says so on the third page when you search for Beano Superstars on this forum. I dont see why I didn't do that back when I wanted to know when it ended.

Thanks for those, and those covers confirm that the Quarterly Specials are the same as the earlier ones. That makes it safe to add #10 (Jakob, Tin Can already mentioned that one, I was just making sure it was part of the same series before I added it, didn't want to have another error like my original Beano Superstars #3 listing, which was really Beano Special #3).

Issue 7 falls into the Department of Redundancy Department TV Trope, lol. They should've just called it Desperate Dan in Japan.

Two more Beano Superstars which aren't on your list have been put up on ebay.

Beano Superstars issue 10 the Bash Street Kids in Soccer Shocker

and Beano Superstars 74 Minnie the Minx in Lady Minxalot which is mentioned in the previous post but the link is dead.

Got a new computer a couple of days ago (my old one suddenly had power supply failure just after Christmas, had been using a borrowed laptop since then), so I'll download the current HTML page before updating it. Will do it later.

EDIT: Page updated. :)
