I already got my collection but is anyone interested?

I am so interested but so can't afford it...
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

Interesting, the guy has two FULL sets of 2000AD collections on e-Bay.

What are the chances of that I wonder?

I haven't done a full check of his issue list but it can't be complete because issue 76 is certainly missing.

Issue 76 is missing from this set too. Is this an oversight on the vendor's part, or did 76 never get issued for some reason?

Issue 76 certainly came out and should be fairly easy to find. It doesn't feature any of the banned from reprint episodes either.

This is a lot of money to shell out at once [I can't afford this on comics either, Col: this is 'lottery winnings' league!] but boy, would you get a lot of 'bang for your buck'.

Wonder what distracted the [obviously] dedicated buyer the week that Prog 76 came out?

Looks like someone paid for the first set of listings.

???

It doesn't say he is missing 76 - he only notes the important progs, and surely he's relisted the collection, as the first listing failed to sell? I don't think he has two identical collections...

I think you are right Mike as he has added the free gifts second time around, are they really worth that much?I would have thought only the earlier years would be worth anything i know its a full run in good condition but are later ones worth that much?

A full set in good condition sold in march 2009 for 646 pounds, obviously last two and a half years not included, that could have been cheap?

Looks like it doesnt even include the specials?

That just isn't true, Mike. In the big green box he lists every number except 76. He may well have been careless and just missed it off by mistake, but it is the only number missing from his list nevertheless.

sorry, guys, it was mentioned above that Prog 76 was missing: but in 100 years, who's gonna care?

Earlier on, the first listing was closed, but the second was still open.

Dunno what the score is, I'm outa here!

Well presumably, even in that far distant future, anybody who hasn't managed to unearth a copy of prog 76 in order to complete his collection. My guess would be one of felneymike's descendants! :D

Nice one, Phoenix: or maybe even Felneymike himself in 2111, if he stops eating microved pizzas and starts to enjoy a stable, healthy diet.

Sorry, Felneymike!
