Bloggular Activities: Brand-New Updates

Post by ISPYSHHHGUY »

The theme of BLOGGING has gathered fair interest on this fine site recently, with many members actively putting out reams of worthy comics-related material.

Rather than than start a new thread with every single new blog entry, I'll be publicizing any new BRITISH-COMICS-RELATED blog entries on this same updated thread , that may be of interest to Comics UK regulars.

My site POLARIZED OPINIONS is mostly dedicated to my own characters and concept developments, but some of the newer entries are centred around British Comics Artists [funnies] who have influenced me as well as dominated the entire funnies market.

I am covering the mighty DC THOMSON artists first, ---and that includes all of the major ones as well as those who have impressed me personally and I also hope to go on to the ODHAMS/IPC funnies artists after that----if all goes well, I may even include the top 2000 AD artists, who I appreciate just as much.

Anyone else who wants to mention their freshly-posted new comics-blog material can do so on this thread if they so wish.

Anyway, first up, the first instalment in my

PROMINENT D C THOMSON cartoonists is hot of the presses, just mere minootas ago:

Very nice Rab! I can't draw for toffee (Or any confectionery!) A great skill that! I know a few characters from your `Baby boomer` set! Nice to see "I.Spy" there too!

Maybe-if you have time & inclination you might consider an `I.Spy` rogues gallery?
A Face unclouded by thought.

Thanks, Peter...I am trying to get through all the major UK comics artists and I am starting with the obvious ones first--it will take me ages as I am also doing my own stuff, but I love doing these.

You are so kind, Peter------little did we know we would know each other years later......

I am doing an updated cartoon on the 3 Bears which I will add onto my blog later this year------if I was drawing BEANO stuff now you will see what it would have looked like with my new cartoons.
