There were only 4 pre-decimal issues so while it tempted me, it did not tempt me enough.
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

The rolling pin that Karen was holding threateningly over your head would need to have been factored into your thinking too.colcool007 wrote:There were only 4 pre-decimal issues so while it tempted me, it did not tempt me enough.

I was going to look at them as well. I forgot all about the auction until I received an email telling me I'd won with my pre-bid!starscape wrote:I meant to go for the Starblazers but got the day wrong. D'oh!

At 15 minutes a comic, I make that 750 hours of reading............I think I'll take my time! I intend to catalogue them first and add in my existing comics. It may start a whole new area to collect in as I try to get all 5000!Raven wrote:Do you plan to read them all?

I don't think I'd like to be in your shoes, Adam, when your Mrs gets a sniff of that plan.Adam Eterno wrote:It may start a whole new area to collect in as I try to get all 5000!

With regard to Karen, the rolling pin that she is holding is why did I not bid? She shares my love of comics and to her, the addition of the majority of Commando would be a blessing not a curse.Phoenix wrote:The rolling pin that Karen was holding threateningly over your head would need to have been factored into your thinking too.colcool007 wrote:There were only 4 pre-decimal issues so while it tempted me, it did not tempt me enough.
