Don't know what happened there!!!, I was in shock but so pleased it stood out & has obviously attracted the kids/parents, like I said hope it remains.

Some good news of sorts, my local Asda which hasn't sold The Beano for the last 2 months suddenly had a large display last week with about 30 copies of the weekly & 20 Dennis the Menace megazines. Went in today & only 2 copies of weekly & 5 of Dennis, Hope they continue with these stand alone stands...

Exciting stuff, The Battlerz are free over the summer with figures & games cards...

At last we have some progress, went into my local Asda yesterday & they now have a large cardboard stand with Kids comics emblazed on it with about 9 different titles on it. Latest Circulation figures are out, From what I can see The Beano has had a large increase in readership during 2012 Previous figure was around 28,000 I think?

Spencer you have a good point, we are dealing with the dreaded DCT marketing department here who do not have a good record. There needs to be a lot more free interaction on the main website for a start you need to be drawing people in & wanting them to come back & buy a subscription which then opens...

March can't come any quicker, really looking forward to this relaunch King Cobra looks amazing and had so much potential that DCT missed I think. John Freeman & Co really need a pat on the back for sticking in there & carrying on regardless. Its deserves a lot of success...

I would recommend The Phoenix started getting this after the print Dandy finished & have been very surprised now have a full subscription.
