I much prefer the very early half pages when Dennis was short and somehow more menacing. I went off the strip when he was stretched taller.

What comics actually makes you laugh? During the forties I took and loved the Beano and Dandy, enjoying what was on offer without finding them particularly funny. Dan has a girlfreind, an ordinary blonde, In Dandy 158. Dec 7. 1940. The only time she`s made an appearance as far as I know, having large gaps in my collection.
