Charlton & Warren #1s & Specials
I'm helping a friend here who has been left a few (20 or so) early 1960s comics. They are not in mint condition but all seem to be complete but as I've not seen them myself I can't really vouch for condition etc. Here's some photos (of photocopies) of the covers: http://images.vexillia.com/personal/...

Before I take the plunge can you help me with any of the following: Roughly how much is this going to cost me? What's the best bonding to ask for? Any book binde...

Re: Big news for Ken Reid fans!
Just in case you haven't spotted it: these books are being offered via Kickstarter not traditional publishing. So enough people must sign up or no books, no special discounts and there's no guarantee of general sales release aftre the Kickstarter (likely to be fixed print run).

Re: Is this forum turning its toes up?
On many occasions over the last few months I have logged in only to find that there has been no sign of life since my previous visit ... This afternoon has been no exception. It's the summer. Many of the sites I visit experience a drop over the summer months with the lowest figures coinciding with ...

Bound issues
I saw a recent blog post from someone who had bound copies of the Beano &Dandy. They were bound into 6 monthly volumes and cost about a fiver per volume. It set me thinking. Would this be a good thing to do with by 2000AD collection particularly the early issues? So I'd like to tap the collective ex...

It's held once a month usually in middle & towards end - the next ones on this year will be 16th November then 14th December. Thanks. I should be able to make it in December. Also ...

Re: STRIP Rant
Short and sweet: I'm owed a copy of #7 from before Xmas as mine arrived badly damaged. I've yet to see #1 (Vol 2) which has been in the shops for weeks. God knows what will happen to #2 (Vol 2). John Freeman has not been in touch since 02 April! Prior to that my issues were always in the post but d...

I'm not an admin here but let me lay out a few things that may not be obvious: [1] This forum is a public forum and is visible to all and sundry without logging in. [2] Google, and Bing, use bots to index public sites so that they appear in their search results. [3] This has been happening for as lo...
