Just to balance it up a little I got the latest Dandy from Asda yesterday. The Dandy's were shoved right at the back as always though but I moved them to the front like the champion for traditional British comics that I am.

I must strongly protest over this weeks Dandy. 4 pages of Cuddles and Dimples and not a single panel featuring their mum. I think there should be some quota where Mum appears at least once every story... preferably in that low cut top. Also, as a bit of a gamer, I'm looking forward to Stupid Barrio ...

Issue 2 of Vworp Vworp! finally arrived a few days ago (I pre-ordered it on the 10th of August!). I got to say that it is bloody brilliant, 100+ packed pages and 2 original comic strips.

I'll be definately getting issue 3 especially with an Alan Moore interview.

The single greatest parody-villian is Lew's Man-Brick (a parody of Man-Bat, folks). Always makes me chuckle.

I'm another who's having to order it from the FB website. What happened to it going to be available on amazon also? I had a jolly good time searching for it anyways.

Wasn't there Beano/Dandy candy cigerettes (imagine the outcry if those were on the shelves today) in the 80's? You got them in a little cardboard box and it came with a collectable card. That period of around No.3525 to No.3540 had some fantastic covers. Judging by the return of HH and Dan on the cover of the last 2 issues I'm hoping for more of the same.

I'm calling a Numskulls/Germs crossover for the Beano Christmas issue! Come on Beano guys, you know it makes sense.

Well I've gone and answered my own query by finding these on an old ebay auction. There was also a set of Dandy's (4 of each I seem to remember).

On a side note, does anyone have or remember the mini-Beano and Dandy comics you got in packets of cereal? It must've been the late 80's.
