I must admit, I'm a bit of a lurker on these forums... Pretty much every day I read what everybody has to say, but I rarely post.

I grew up with The Dandy in the 70s and 80s, and I'm still a reader to this day. I buy two copies a week - one for me, and one for my nephews.

I've just been to buy The Dandy Christmas double-issue... what can I say... this is a thing of wondrous beauty!

Everybody has excelled in making this, in my opinion, the best-looking Dandy issue since the 1980s. Not only is it the most colourful comic I've ever seen come out of the DC Thomson ...

Well... I was SO EXCITED to buy the new look Dandy today... I actually bought two copies... I just couldn't help myself.

I just wanted to congratulate everybody who has worked so hard to make Britain's oldest comic wonderful again.

I love the style, layout, humour, paper, characters... EVERYTHING ...

The new-look cover... I LOVE IT!

And do I spy Korky the Cat (drawn by Jamie Smart) on the front too? Nice!

That's fine... let's hope the publicity tomorrow is exciting and clever and gets everybody talking about The Dandy again.

The anticipation is killing me!

Of course if Lew Stringer isn't drawing an updated version of Ken Harrison's Rah Rah Randall , I'll be furious (...just kidding).

Ah! I was rather hoping Harry was doing a Dandy promotion... perhaps he'll tie in the comic re-launch with his book!
