Ruth,
Yes, the hypnosis one was quite interesting. After the Eagle had kidnapped Cat Girl and took her to his H.Q., she was handed over to one of Eagle's female associates. She is then forced to remove her cat suit and becomes dizzy and faint after having a bright light shone in her eyes. Cat Girl ...

Re: Cat Girl villain
Ruth,
Thanks for that, I hadn't realised she got kidnapped so often, although I was surprised Cat Girl didn't occasionally get knocked out by the villains.

Re: Cat Girl villain
Ruth,
Thanks for that, I could remember Eagle but can't actually remember any story lines where X was the villain. I know Cat Girl was occasionally kidnapped by the Eagle and his gang, while she was even brain washed by them in one story. Do you know if X ever rendered Cat Girl helpless and ...

Re: Help with the end of a Cat Girl story
Sila,
Thanks very much for filling in the ending of this Cat Girl adventure, we all know Cat Girl will triumph in the end but how she gets to the result is sometimes truly amazing. Was Tina the comic which contained the Dutch version of Cat Girl?
Thanks for your help,
Jane

Re: Cat Girl - female adversaries?
Thanks very much for that, Cat Girl not only solves another mystery, she once more manages to give her dad the credit. Fantastic
Thanks,
Jane
PS. Have you noticed what bad shots the villains are, Cat Girl is often shot at, sometimes at point blank range, but they never even wound her!
Thanks,
Jane

Cat Girl villain
Can anyone confirm if there was a villain in any Cat Girl stories known just by his initial - I think it may have been 'X'.

Re: Cat Girl - female adversaries?
Phil,
Thanks but the more I look at this the more I think Betty Breton must have had something to do with it. She already seems to think Angela is Cat Girl, so if Angela and Cathy have a cat fight maybe it is Betty who distracts Cat Girl and allows Angela to stun Cat Girl with a blow and then while ...

Re: Cat Girl - female adversaries?
I guess it could be a bit of both. I would think Cat Girl would have confronted Angela who still had her cat outfit on and the two girls had their cat fight. As a crowd gathers, Angela uses cat like cunning and accuses Cat Girl of being a criminal and only pretending to be Cat Girl. The crowd then ...

Cat Girl - female adversaries?
There seemed to be male villains on every continent who wanted to see the end of Cat Girl, but does anyone know if there were any story lines where Cat Girls main enemy was female?

Re: Cathy the Cat Girl
Thanks Phil,
Some interesting thoughts, Phil. I know in the 1971 annual, Cathy wanted to investigate a case in a circus while her dad was away but her dad told her he didn’t want ‘little’ Cathy being involved. As soon as her dad left, Cathy put on her cat suit, 'just for old time’s sake' which may ...

Re: Cathy the Cat Girl
Thanks Phil,
Wow, what an action packed story, I could vaguely remember Cathy Carter being brainwashed but not the ending.
As for my script writing prowess, I could imagine the Eagle coming out with the ‘cat nap’ remark after capturing Cat Girl and holding her at gun point while the dreaded Miss ...

Re: Cathy the Cat Girl
Phil,
Actually, my memories not that good, I had a lot of these comics until about 10 years ago, then passed most of them on after having a last look. I still have some, though, as well as a couple of Sally annuals. Of course, I now wish I had kept them all! With all those villains in the plane, its ...

Re: Cathy the Cat Girl
Phil,
If I remember correctly, Cat Girl comes out of her trance and then escapes from the Eagles gang when they either throw her out (or did she jump) of the Eagles plane. I think Cat Girl then lands on the train that is about to be robbed! Do you know if she managed to thwart the robbery or did the ...

Re: Help with the end of a Cat Girl story
Phil,
I know some of Cat Girl's escapes are almost Bond like but I would guess something mundane like the cats make so much noise that people come out to look and see the Cat Girl and some how get her down. Poor Mr. Carter, he can't seem to do anything right, good job Cathy is resourceful!
Thanks ...

Re: Help with the end of a Cat Girl story
Hi Phil,
You are correct, the Merry-go-Round incident could have been a sketch right out of Monty Python! Cat Girl is really a fun character and the tail on her suit seems to have a mind of its own and sums the situation up quite well on its own. However, some of the episodes where Cat Girl is in ...
