I know this topic has been aired before but I would like to know peoples current views as more & more of these DVDs have appeared on ebay.

I seem to remember that excellent volume the history of the Beano came out this time last year. There was talk there would be a similar book like it on the Dandy. Does anyone know if it's going to be published?

Has anyone bought this yet? I've just ordered it on Amazon, £17.50 instead of £25.
Its 352 pages so it looks value for money.

Does anyone know why this goes for such high prices? All the years around it are as common as they come.

For what its worth here is my comic history.
I first had the Beano bought for me in Feb. 1972. I also remember having the Summer Special from that year. I also bought the Dandy plus the ocassional copy of the Beezer and the Valiant & Cor. My cousin also gave me a number of annuals from the 60's.
