...anyone else having trouble obtaining a copy? None of the my usual local retailers have it. Visited London last weekend and no luck there either.

It was due out last week. I'm left feeling a bit worried by this...

DC Thomson's own Sunday Post ran a one-page feature in its magazine yesterday. There was a quote from the Dandy editor in there, saying that the Xtreme rebranding had proved "very popular". Shame that the comic itself doesn't seem to be marking its anniversary...

There was a Dandy/Beano book a number of years ago made up of Adventure strips.

For what it's worth (and I know nowt), I think a children's magazine has as much chance of success as a children's newspaper.

There are already children's magazines running successfully in the UK (Kraze Club, CY, National Geographic Kids, DK Find Out...) as well as a couple of children's ...

I also spy '16 page comic'... could the strips be in a pull-out centre page section?

Hmmm... new logo looks nice.

Not really sure about reprinting the old Desperate Dan strips though, particularly if the changes are to reflect the changing interests of the youngsters reading the comic.

Having looked at the first issue of 'Twisted', there's actually very little difference between this and 'Smut'.

The artwork on the whole is reasonable enough, but the scripts are, IMHO, not funny. The ads for porn lines are still there and there appears to be a lot of reprint stuff. I say appears ...
