Roy Of The Rovers from a recent movie made on 80s Kiwi band The Dance Exponents

I think the ones I'm getting are 1990ish, with Billy's Boots, etc.. at least I hope they are.

Purchased several The best of Roy of the Rovers monthly on Amazon, never seen these before so keen to check them out.

A batch of Tiger & Scorcher's from 1976 to get the one issue I'm missing Been waiting all year to get this one issue.

A Tiger from 1983. I thought I'd gone through my entire collection to see what was missing, but must have missed these - only discovered them as I'm reading Billy's Boots along with the just started Tough Game and Sintek. Missing 2 from 1983, managed to get one from eBay but naturally the other one ...

Kind of partial to Speed, then Tiger. Eagle was a bit too hair-raising!

I grabbed a Tiger & Roy Of The Rovers set to read on my tablet, both are woefully incomplete. I guess the complete sets are/were floating around somewhere online, but I could only find the same ones as on the DVDs. Ended up buying a whole bunch of physical comics off eBay to (nearly) complete my sets.

Very true, a million miles away from doing death wish stunts in Speed!

Wasn't that keen when Tiger merged with Eagle. Poor old Billy Dane got up to all sorts of Eagle-esque antics, like flying a plane after the pilot became ill, while being on the run for most of his Eagle stint.

The last issue I got back in the day was Dec 21, 1985.... and finally an eBay auction appeared for Dec 28. This afternoon I won two October 1967 issues of Tiger from EBay. They have filled a gap so that I have a run of 1033 issues from 24.04.1965 through to the final issue, 30.03.1985. Very happy! Nice!
