Re: Character First Appearance?

Thanks, all. I have seen appearances of a character that has Primrose's design, but is often given other names. I think this is what is fuelling my confusion on the topic.

Re: Another Day Another Comic Mystery

Honestly the first that came to mind was that episode of Doctor Who, but that's way off.

Re: What comics did you buy today?

I've still got my focus on re-collecting Oor Wullie annuals. Managed to get all of the noughties and new 10's annuals (so 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019) for £1.50 a book! I will be going back to try to get earlier ones soon, but with this I have from 1995 onwards so all th...

Re: Looking for Bash Street/Beano story

I feel like that was part of a story called Bash Street Academy but I could be wrong? It inspired the Beano Video All Stars segment of the same name. Not sure when the printed version of the story came out, wish I did, it would be nice to re-read it.

Character First Appearance?

Hope this is the right forum, first of all. This comes about after a chat with my Dad in which neither of us had an answer. When did the character Primrose Patterson first appear in the Oor Wullie comics? I remember being there during my childhood reading in the 90s. Dad thought she was around befor...

Re: Hullo!

I wouldn't worry about having nothing to swap. There are going to be 17 collectors with tables groaning with their doubles. If you are into British comics, there will be something there for you. Personally, most of my swaps will be 1970s weeklies, but I will have weeklies from the 1940s to the 1980...

Re: Hullo!

I will be in Glasgow for Swapmeet Six. I may have some comics to tempt you with as I am taking a range of comic from Battle to Beano to Bunty. From Warlord to World of Wonder. I will have comics for all tastes. I am even taking some series 1 Wizard so if you fancy comics featuring some of the earli...

Re: What comics did you buy today?

Over the weekend, I rebought some Oor Wullie annuals I had had growing up, and had wore out from reading so often: 1995, 1997, 1999, and 2001. Dearest one was the 1997 one, at £1.89, so I don't think I did too badly over all for all of them. Total spending (including postage fees) was: £7.24. The 19...

Re: Hullo!

Welcome to the funhouse Werepuppy. I did think of going to the Rep to see the musical but unfortunately I had other demands on my wallet. I am not that far from you being in Fife myself and I can help you replace those issues as I have four boxes of Beano and Dandy issues in mint condition taking u...

Hullo!

Wow, I feel like I should be sitting on a bucket for this... Hullo, all! First of all, thank you for accepting me on the forum. It's really great to find a place to talk about comics that come out in the UK and better still to find one that is a forum and not a Facebook page. (I have an FB, but I do...
