Just secured another page of Red Dwarf "Androids" Smegazine artwork direct from cartoonist Kevin F. Sutherland (signed & dated). The A3 page comes with acetate speech bubble overlay, penned in indian ink and further coloured with magic marker pens. The art featured in Smegazine No.7 way back in 1995...

Re: What comics did you buy today?

Thanks Into The Abyss & jim244, I reckon I have more Busters now than when I originally collected them back in 2000 - 2012 (I regretfully sold the lot in 2012). Back then I could store the lot in the bottom of a bookcase, now that has filled up and I'm using some wardrobe space upstairs as well - I...

Re: What comics did you buy today?

Just had delivery of two Dandy summer specials from 1969 & 1970 in VG+ & FN- condition. And wait for it, the rare Scream Spinechillers Holiday Special 1989 in VG condition, although it does have a little bit of damage to the rear cover, a one inch teardrop tear close to the middle of the spine is mi...

Cheers! - actually my first lot of Beezer broadsheets (already had a few Topper and Buzz) - what a great read they are. :)
Look in good order too. I loved those broadsheet Toppers & Beezers as a kid. Bought loads at my local school summer fate. 8)

Re: Sandy James

These pages of artwork by Sandy James have been (probably still are) up for sale on ebay - I'm a big fan of Sandy's work and it's a shame that more of it has been reprinted in recent year. https://boysadventurecomics.blogspot.com/2024/05/sandy-james-artwork-for-tiger.html Very nice. Superb artist. :)

Re: Playhour comic - can you help?

great links & beautiful Embleton artwork (of course!) but not quite what I'm looking for sadly :( The strip I'm after is in black & white and has quite a gentle, cartoon-y style. Thanks again for taking the time to try and help me Yeah, very nice they are too Richard.S. Sorry to disappoint. Will do...

Re: Playhour comic - can you help?

Richard S, done a bit of detective work for you. I think you might have confused wrong comic. What I found was the Children of the New Forrest strip appeared in the Princess comic circa 1962 by Fleetwood Press and not Playhour. I could be wrong unless those characters did feature in Playhour but und...
