A friend of mine wants to know what Flash Gordon strips appeared in TV Tornado. If anybody knows, which seems quite likely in this forum, he'd like to know whether they were comic book or comic strip reprints, and where and when they first appeared.

By coincidence, I've just discovered a blog devoted to Australian comics, which includes an article on Otter Comics who publish an A5 repackagaing of the American Simpsons comic. I don't know if the UK title repackages ...

I have an early 60s Buster annual including US comic strip character Johnny Hazard, so I assume he appeared in Buster thereabouts.

I have the Biggles/Falklands one (which doesn't seem to have Biggles in it, so Biggles fans steer clear) and the Blake & Mortimer. Both are excellent pieces of work, and the translation seems good too.

Two days before reading this query, I dug my run of Strip out of the loft, so I can tell you that it ran from 17th February 1990 to 10th November 1990

Fans of Jack Kirby might like to know that Express Weekly ran his Sky Masters strip, running justa few days after American publication, sensitively reformatted and, best of all, beautifully coloured. The one example I have is a lovely sight.

I recently bought a DVD box set of all surviving episodes of the late sixties fantasy action TV series Adam Adamant Lives. What I remember most from the old Tintin TV series was the stentorian opening bellow of "HERGE'S ADVENTURES OF TINTIN!!"

I don't agree that three Who magazines is overkill.
One's for hardcore adult fans, one's for young children, and Battles In Time is some sort of collectible card game magazine, so I'd say they're all aiming at very different markets.
