36 is the cover of Don Winslow of the Navy 18 published by Fawcett in August 1944. If you press and hold an image Google will search for similar images online. It didn't show that exact image but did come up with some other Don Winslows. I then checked the cover gallery on Grand Comics Database for ...

I would have thought all Bash Street Kids stories were in colour especially in annuals. The only exception would be that big Dennis the Menace Fun Book which was all black and white and issued around that time. Maybe that's where you saw it.

Perhaps you should join grand comics database and fill in some missing artist details. I put Tiger no. 1 on last week but couldn't name any artists. It's still awaiting approval so won't be visible yet.

Today on local TV London Live station they showed Operation Third Form made by the Children's Film Foundation in 1966. Roberta Tovey of Doctor Who fame was in it. Another issue of Shoot! from the same year apologised for having fewer colour pages due to the electricity shortage. Obviously during the strikes of the 1970s

Received fifteen early issues of Bimbo yesterday. Nice Bill Ritchie Baby Crockett on the back covers. Also Tom Thumb by Watkins.

I wonder if members know that Donald and Mickey was advertised as a new comic in IPC titles but then came an announcement that the launch had been delayed. I was looking through some issues of Shoot on Friday and noticed a small piece in one of them apologising for its delay.

Last week on Dickinson's Real Deal a woman brought in 1100 silver age Marvel comics. Her uncle had died and they found them in a cupboard. The expert offered her £1650.00 but she declined and took them to auction where they were sold in five lots and she took home just over £3100.00 after deductions.

My mate Steve had two Hermes parcels from phil-comics, one was delivered to him but the second to a different address. He got it eventually.
