Re: Five go off to camp Annual - artist unknown

None of the Enid Blyton annuals are credited, and yes there is a niggling familiarity to this style. :headbash: I have this edition, which I can post better scans/pictures of later.

Leslie Branton illustrated at least one edition, as well as some of the Secret Seven annuals.

Re: Spot the actors

I recall a short-lived 1980s comic that clearly used A-Ha's singer Morten Harket for its lead character in an action orientated strip. The strip 'The Laughing Cats' (Diana, 1967) clearly used David McCallum as reference for its male lead. I believe the artist was Gonzalez, who had drawn 'The Man fro...

Jason January Space Cadet

This started in 'Ranger' and continued in 'Look & Learn' when the two merged. I seem to recall the colour strips (drawn by Geoff Campion) were reprinted in a hardback called 'Space Wars' in the 1980s but flicking through some 'Look & Learn's buried in my collection and recently rediscovered, I see t...

Re: Help identifying Jack & Jill Holiday Special

You're almost right! Doing a quick Google (didn't have time this morning after I found the films) it looks like they're from the 1984 edition: http://i.ebayimg.com/t/JACK-AND-JILL-HOLIDAY-SPECIAL-1984-GOOD-CONDITION-/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/7QYAAMXQwMdREnJx/$%28KGrHqV,!lEFD%29eZzTqBBREnJ%29SBuw~~60_35.J...
