Information about artist called Marck?
This week I've been reading 'Ginny and Shep' from Penny. A nice little sob story.
In two episodes a signature of the artist can been seen: Marck. Does anyone know anything about this artist?

Re: Tammy in the later years - 'kinder'?
The later Tammys are a bit, ehm, dull. All those Tony Coleman stories... There doesn't seem to be an issue without a story by him. I don't know if he also wrote the stories or that he worked with the same writer, but I don't like any of these stories. Towards the end Tammy became a bit of a 'nothing...

Re: Tammy in the later years - 'kinder'?
It seems to have been taken off the net. When I look at a cached copy of the Tammy Project, the last entry is from July 11, 2014, in which she states she is having troubles with the internet. After that: nothing.

I visit the site regularly, and I've had no problems at all. Not with new nor with old entries.

Re: Anne Digby interview, and questions arising
The man in the two panels at the bottom left do look like Giorgio Giorgetti's work. You're right, Phil, we shouldn't rule out that the original is by Giorgio Giorgetti. The person who mentioned that it's his work must have gotten the information from somewhere. And an artist can have different style...

Re: Anne Digby interview, and questions arising
Also the lettering was re-done. It's odd. Perhaps they thought the original looked too old-fashioned? But then again: the original was just six years old at the time... I guess it must not have been one of Robert MacG's favourite jobs. I think an artist prefers to create his own work, instead of alt...

Re: Anne Digby interview, and questions arising
The 1961 doesn't look at all like Giorgio Giorgetti, like I was told.
Here is an example of the version I was talking about. When you compare this to the earlier post by Peace355, you can see the faces have been replaced by Robert MacG., whoever the original artist was.

Re: D'Adderio serial I am trying to find
I couldn't find the story in the comics I thought it was in. But now I'm making a list of the stories that appeared in Tina, and from the late 80's onwards, they published only serials from DC Thomson, because there were no IPC girls' comics anymore to borrow from. So perhaps it was in Tina that I s...

Re: Cristina y Sus Amigos - Manuel Cuyas
I found some on the internet, but I haven't been to any of them. As I already have all the Dutch comics I want, I haven't been to comic shops in the Netherlands for many years. Go Joker Comics, Zeedijk 31-A Snoek Strips, Linnaeusstraat 205 Nou Moe!!, Lindenstraat 1 Fantasia, Buitenveldertselaan 174 ...

Re: Cristina y Sus Amigos - Manuel Cuyas
I've been buying on Marktplaats for about fifteen years. Most sellers are okay, but unfortunately there are some that can not be trusted. That's why a rating system like on Ebay would be a good thing.

He he, sorry! Well, still the shipping costs will be high. I don't know why I thought you were from Spain!

Re: Cristina y Sus Amigos - Manuel Cuyas
You could have a look at www.marktplaats.nl. There are always a lot of Dutch girls comics on that site. But then of course you have to pay shipping costs, and I imagine these must be quite steep to have the comics send to Spain.

Re: Cristina y Sus Amigos - Manuel Cuyas
Yes, those are the two! I like the stories very much. A pity they didn't publish more of them over here. I took the books out today: each had 48 pages, and as I guessed, they were published in 1973. There were two more books in this series: one of Patty's World and one of the Happy Days. Even though...
