Yvonne Hutton was the mother of a good friend of mine. As far as I know she did all the Daily Star strips. Tragically, she died in a car accident. I'm afraid that none of these are Yvonne Hutton's artwork, first sample (Maxwell Hawke) is made by Eric Bradbury and the two others (Roy of the Rovers) by Joe Colquhoun.

This morning I came across a Roy of the Rovers strip from the Daily Star dated 1991. The art is by Yvonne Hutton. It's unusual to see a female artist drawing a football strip. It seems like the ancient city called "Troia" to me. The horse may be "Doureios Ippos", made by the Greeks to conquer the town.
